Just pair with your compatible mobile phone and talk hands-free through the Nüvi 215. Simply dial numbers using Nüvi’s touch screen keypad and answer calls in a tap of the screen. Enjoy convenient one-touch dialing for contacts and points of interest and drive safely and legally.
Simplicity and safety
The Nüvi 215 comes preloaded with Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps mapping. Simply touch the colour screen, key in your destination and Nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn spoken directions and smooth moving maps. Digital elevation detail shows shaded contours for a better understanding of the surrounding terrain. In addition, the Nüvi 215 accepts custom points of interest such as named businesses, with proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs as you approach. With HotFix™ satellite prediction technology, the Garmin unit calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.
“Where Am I?” gives you details about your position on demand. Simply tap the car icon for your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, nearest address, and directions to nearby hospitals, police and petrol stations.
The Nüvi 215 also comes with Garmin Lock™, the inventive anti-theft protection system that uses GPS technology to safeguard your GPS by locking to a secure location of your choice. Just return to the location to unlock.
